One problem with getting high performance, energy e#cient buildings into the marketplace is that owners and designers hesitate to try new technologies and processes that have not yet been adopted by the mainstream, unsure about the potential energy savings. However, a few building owners and designers have made great strides to signi!cantly change the way commercial buildings use energy. They have documented the performance of energy e#cient buildings with respect to energy and identi!ed lessons learned from their experiences.
