Batam, Kepri, December 6, 2011 - The Directorate-General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (DJEBTKE), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources holds Energy Efficiency for the week of Batam and surrounding areas. This event will run from December 6 to 9, 2011 in Hotel Novotel Batam, attended by ​​Ir.Maryam Ayuni - Director of Conservation of Energy, Ministry of Energy.
Energy Efficiency in Batam is organized with support from the Government of Denmark, in the form of inter-governmental cooperation through Energy Efficiency in Industrial, Commercial and Public Sector (EINCOPS) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Batam is the fourth city after Jakarta, Makassar and Denpasar, from a series of activities in the Energy Efficiency Week Roadshow which will take place in nine provinces in Indonesia.
Energy Efficiency Week will be held for four days. The first day of activities is devoted to executive / top management of companies to increase understanding about the potential for energy efficiency in industry. While the second to fourth day are aimed at energy managers as a briefing for the mechanism of energy managers national certification. Energy Efficiency Week in Batam was attended by 50 top management from various companies, as well as practicioners such as buildings and energy consultant architects, MEP consultants and contractors, as well as 30 energy managers.
