Home and School Energy Champion 2012
The Home and School Energy Champion 2012 is a competition that challenges households and schools to modify their behavior on energy consumption. It seeks the best household and schools who are able to reduce their energy consumption, while still functioning optimally without hampering their activities (energy efficient behaviour).
The Home and School Energy Champion in Indonesia will run for 6 months period, now it is in the execution phase. Before the competition starts, participants will need to register themselves online and fill some questionnaire to be the baseline data.
In the competition period, there will be monthly monitoring by the Energy Champion Secretariat of all participating houses and schools. As for participants, they need to send their monthly update to the Competition Secretariat through the Home and School Energy Champion 2012 Website.
The Secretariat will introduce the concept to participants and provide all information related with energy efficiency to participants through monthly challenges, twitter quizes, seminar, social media, direct consultation and materials such as booklets, leaflets and newsletters.
