The Energy Efficient Buildings Program is intended to encourage construction of energy-efficient buildings in Indonesia in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for Energy Efficient Buildings through the development of energy efficient building code and the development of energy efficient building design software.
Through comparative studies and working groups, the Energy Efficient Buildings SNIs that have been prepared by the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (DJEBTKE) will be equipped with energy conservation building codes. The SNIs that have been prepared by DJEBTKE are:
EECCHI also develops an energy efficient building design guidelines that is accompanied by a software which will assist professionals in designing and constructing energy efficient buildings. The software can also generate a simulation and performance evaluation of existing buildings. Training to use this software, which also helps increase awareness on the importance of energy efficiency in buildings, will also be provided by EECCHI for professionals in this field.
